Elizabeth Rehfeld, MS, MFT

Founder and President

Elizabeth is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Dominican University; 1990. She has been working with adolescents and their families for twenty years. She has taught multiple educational workshops, specializing in seminars for parents of teen-agers. She is currently providing annual workshops for students and their parents on self advocacy. Elizabeth earned her B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a double major in Theatre & English. In 1978 she returned to Fairleigh Dickinson as an instructor and director of Creative Drama and Children’s Theatre. She spent five years working in Human Resource Development before pursuing her psychology degree. Liz is a current leadership team member and former president of the Novato chapter of Business Network International, (BNI). She has been a Big Sister with Big Brothers, Big Sisters for over ten years. She has voluntarily helped many children pursue their educational goals. Elizabeth has done extensive research in the field of higher education and has visited and researched colleges and universities throughout the country. Her experience as a counselor, educator, director, Big Sister, and mother of three has provided her with ideal skills to help high school students to prepare for their future.

Lisa Rendic

Marketing Director

Lisa Rendic recently joined the Bound4College team and comes to us with a background in Child Life as well as sales and marketing. Lisa has a B.A. in Psychology from UC Berkeley and a M.S. in Child Life and Family Centered Care from Wheelock College in Boston. Lisa’s role at Bound4College includes: marketing Bound4College services, organizing speaking events and workshops, publishing the monthly newsletter, advertising, administration and acting as a liaison between the company and the community. .

Bob Rehfeld

Finance Director

Bob’s role with Bound4College is to ensure that the business aspects of the company run smoothly and efficiently to create a positive experience for our clients every step of the way. Bob is a managing partner of a consulting firm specializing in processes that enable Fortune 500 clients to execute corporate strategy. Bob directs most aspects of the firm’s client services. Bob is an expert interpersonal skills trainer who specializes in sales and management coaching systems. His design and development work was instrumental in the successful development of many products for his firm including a first of its kind virtual live training program delivered over the internet.

Melissa Schwab

Office Manager

Melissa Schwab has been a part of the Bound4College team since April, 2009. She received her undergraduate education at San Diego State University, and continued on to a graduate program at University of San Diego immediately following. Her extensive volunteer work with youth, particularly adolescents, has led her to pursue career options in the field of education. Bound4College has been a tremendous opportunity for her to further develop her skills and education.
