ELIZABETH REHFELD, MFT
Owner
Elizabeth is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Dominican University in 1990 and has been working with adolescents and their families for over thirty years. She founded Bound4College, LLC™ in 2004 because of her belief that higher education is a right of all children, including those who have struggled academically due to learning differences, familial issues, psychological issues, or because they are the first generation to be educated in the US. She is an expert in working with students with diagnosed learning and/or psychological challenges. She has facilitated numerous workshops and seminars on college preparation, selection, and admission and has dedicated her professional life to advocating for students to ensure that they make well-informed choices about their future.
REBECCA REHFELD
Co-Owner
Rebecca Rehfeld has been working with adolescents in the Los Angeles area for over a decade. She began her career working as a director for several prominent test prep and tutoring companies, and then earned her Masters in Education with an emphasis in Special Education. Rebecca worked within the high school system as a high school post-secondary counselor, teacher, and mentor while at the same time developing her own private counseling service. Rebecca decided to establish Bound4College™ Southern California and become a college coach in order to be able to fully meet the needs of students from various high schools through the Los Angeles area and the country. Rebecca is a passionate advocate for high school students with learning differences as well as typical learners who have fallen through the cracks. She has developed an in-depth knowledge of colleges that serve students with various needs, and loves helping students craft dynamic essays that reveal their true selves to their top choice schools. She approaches the college counseling process with passion, understanding, and humor while building lasting relationships with students and their families. When she is not researching colleges or editing application essays, Rebecca can be spotted throughout the LA area walking the B4C mascot, Delilah the pitbull (@Delilah.the.doggo), cycling, rock climbing, and buying carloads of hay for her three guinea pigs.
RONI STIMELL
Associate Director
Roni Stimell has worked for Bound4College™ for six years assisting our college coaches and students with all aspects of the college selection and admission process, along with all operational and administrative responsibilities for the company. An east coast native, Roni graduated from the State University of New York At Binghamton with a degree in Political Science. She brings a background in administration, marketing and sales to Bound4College™. Roni is the proud mother of three daughters: twin college students, and a high school senior.
BOB REHFELD
CERTIFIED CAREER COUNSELOR
Bob Rehfeld spent his corporate career working in Operations and Training and Development. His vision and innovation led to designing management and sales training programs using multimedia and role-playing, which elevated his client’s success in their respective fields. As a corporate manager, he was responsible for hiring and developing new talent. The pinnacle of his career was spent at a privately held, fast-growing training and development company specializing in high-level negotiation skills training sold to Fortune 500 companies. His responsibility there was to manage the delivery of all programs offered in English and eleven other languages. Bob fulfilled an operational goal to recruit, hire, and train over 50 trainers worldwide. His interviewing and hiring skills are at the highest level. Bob is now a certified career counselor and is excited to bring his vast knowledge to helping high school students and recent college graduates find their path.
